Part Time Permanent — Administration Assistant — 18 Hours per week. Based at Nightingale House Hospice. We are an ambitious organisation providing specialist palliative care services, completely free‑of‑charge, to patients and their families across a wide area from Wrexham, Flintshire, and East Denbighshire to Barmouth and the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch.
We are seeking an Administration Assistant to join our team on a permanent basis. The role will support the Operations Team to uphold excellent standards and processes across the organisation.
About Nightingale House Hospice
Nightingale House Hospice is a charitable organisation providing compassionate care. It costs £5.6m per year to run the Hospice, with only 20% of funding provided by the government. We rely on the support of the community to donate and fundraise to maintain our vital services. Over 400 volunteers contribute to the Hospice. This year Nightingale House Hospice is celebrating 30 years of providing care.
Responsibilities
* Provide administration support to the Operations Department.
* Develop and review policies, procedures and other governing documents, supporting governance practice.
* Coordinate the accident and incident process, ensuring documentation is on file.
* Coordinate data breach incident reports, working with the Hospice’s Data Protection Officer.
* Administer the Hospice’s e‑Learning platform.
* Coordinate meetings and take accurate minutes with action plans as required.
* Demonstrate excellent organisational skills to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
