LCV Technician Needed in Worcestershire
1. Location: Droitwich
2. Salary: Basic up to £40,000 ; OTE up to £45,000 depending on experience
3. Working Hours: Monday to Friday with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. Flexible shift patterns available.
Our client, a main dealer located in Droitwich, is seeking to hire an experienced LCV Technician for their busy automotive workshop.
Key Responsibilities of an LCV Technician:
4. Perform servicing, repair, and diagnostics on all vehicles in the workshop, ensuring the highest standards.
5. Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs, including suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshafts, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
6. Handle repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles using electronic diagnostic equipment, focusing on batteries, drive motors, auxiliary drive packs, and control systems.
7. Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment.
8. Understand and impact customer satisfaction.
9. Operate additional systems, such as video reporting (e.g., CitNOW).
10. Complete service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
11. Collaborate with workshop team members to learn and share knowledge.
12. Repair and replace major components, such as engines, gearboxes, and fuel systems.

To be eligible for the position of a LCV Technician, you must meet the following requirements:
22. Qualified Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
23. Strong skills with general maintenance, repair and some knowledge with diagnostics/fault finding in passenger vehicles or LCV
24. Confident in being able to advise both technicians, service advisors and customers
25. A Full UK Driving Licence
