Role Overview
We have an exciting hands‑on year‑long paid internship within the Skyhigh Security Data Protection team, where you’ll learn and contribute to next‑generation cloud technologies that protect business data from accidental or malicious loss.
About the Role
Our team develops software that safeguards against data breaches that could damage organizations, ruin reputations, and result in leakage of personal information. You’ll join us in further developing cloud services that enable our customers to protect their sensitive content. You’ll learn new skills and technologies within a supportive agile development team. Your colleagues will guide you so that you can contribute directly to all aspects of software development, building and enhancing skills in design, coding, test automation, infrastructure maintenance, and production software support. Roles exist in teams developing next‑generation user interfaces as well as in developing cloud content scanning technologies depending on your skills and interests.
About You
* Good programming skills using an object‑oriented language such as Java or C++
* Ability to solve problems efficiently
* Interest and enthusiasm for working with new technologies
* Excellent verbal and written English skills
* Ability to communicate ideas and describe your work using visual aids where appropriate
* Currently studying Computer Science or a similar technical discipline that includes significant programming content
* Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
* Projected grade of 2.1 or above
* Eligible to work in the UK
