Responsibilities
* Production of documentary evidence to support the production of a Safety and Environmental Case (SEC).
* Creating and maintaining product Hazard Logs.
* Contributing to the business requirement to deliver conforming product.
* Undertaking safety reviews of engineering designs to ensure compliance with the Product Safety and Environment Management Framework, business policies, procedures and associated management plans.
* Provide support and advice to the Design Organisation on matters relating to product safety for projects and bids.
* Undertaking a range of techniques for conducting Hazard Identification, Analysis and Risk Assessment, for example FMEAs, FTAs.
Role details
* Initial 12 Month Contract
* 4 day working week (Mon-Thurs)
* 3 days per week on site - 1 day working from home
* Glascoed, Monmouthshire
* £53.90 Per Hour (Umbrella Rate - Inside IR35)
Qualifications
* Deriving and setting safety criteria and requirements using UK MOD defence standards such as Def Stan 00-056, Def Stan 00-51, Def Stan 07-085 or DSA 03.OME (formerly JSP 520)
* Proven track record of producing technical engineering reports including compelling ALARP and safety arguments
