RATE: up to £15.77 ph (rate is dependent on shift)

HOURS: Flexible (Long Day (8am-10pm), Waking Night (10pm-8am), Sleep In (10pm-8am)
Job Overview:
You will provide Residential Chidlrens Support to young people on a shift-by-shift basis. You will predominantly be required to work at any of the Authority’s Registered Children’s Homes however, there may be occasions where workers will be supporting children in their own homes or alternative arrangements.
All staff must have a clear DBS, and agencies must provide evidence of vetting in accordance with RISCA (Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016)
Childrens Support Workers Requirements
* Proven experience in working with children's services
* Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure
* Eligibility to work in the UK without work permit or visa restrictions
* Commitment to the safe care and well-being of vulnerable people
* Six months experience of working with children in a residential home setting
* QCF Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care, Children and Young People or equivalent or evidence of working towards.
* Social Care Wales registration for Children’s Residential Setting
