Job Description
Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of monthly product cost analysis for use in determining cost of sales and inventoriable cost.
* Driving analytics and processes to evaluate product cost.
* Identifying cost reductions, and tracking to realisation seasonally, annually, and for strategic plans.
* Conducting cost analysis to improve margin performance and deliver measurable results.
* Complete analysis on operations specific aspects of the finance operating cycle (Cost of Sales, Other Cost of Sales, and Inventory) and other manufacturing topics
* Lead and contribute to ad hoc projects to drive sourcing optimisation with measurable outcomes.
* Assists in developing the company's annual plans.
* Work closely with regional finance teams to design and implement best practices to streamline processes and provide data-driven insights to business leaders.
* Analyse and identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimisation across the business.
* Other ad hoc projects as assigned
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
* Knowledge of accounting practices related to costing
* CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience - Desirable
* Excellent analytical and communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong interpersonal skills with high attention to detail
* Good organisational skills and the ability to work towards deadlines
* Commitment to continuously drive process improvements
