My client is looking for an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager.
Job Title – Registered Manager
Salary – negotiable, up to £66k for the right candidate
Driving Licence – required
L5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare – preferred
The Residential Children’s Care Home Manager is a key member of our management team and is critical to the success of our work and outcomes. We are a Trauma-Informed organisation, and this practice is integrated into all aspects of our work. Your role is to create and manage a home where children are enriched and can thrive.

You will be responsible for managing a Children’s Residential Care Home, ensuring it is a safe and secure environment. We accommodate only one child or young person at a time.

Duties include:
* Leading and managing a Solo Occupancy Children’s Home reliably and consistently.
* Ensuring adherence to the home's Statement of Purpose.
* Aiming to achieve “Good” with aspirational goals for “Outstanding” under Children’s Home Regulations and Ofsted standards.
* Managing services, including staff supervision, care and placement planning, safeguarding, communication, report writing, and quality monitoring.
* Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Completing reports in line with deadlines.
* Providing child-focused, personalized care and planning.
* Managing safeguarding, risk, and service governance.
* Ensuring children access all necessary services.
* Supervising staff and supporting their development.
* Recruiting staff in line with policies.
* Supporting staff induction, reviews, and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children’s Residential, or equivalent.
* Commitment to personal development.
* At least 2 years’ experience working with children within the last 5 years.
* Experience in supervision or management.
* Experience working with children, young people, and their families.
* Experience working in a residential setting.
* Knowledge of multi-agency working.
