Secondary Teacher responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3–KS4 for general cover
Maintain strong classroom management and positive learning environments
Adapt quickly to different schools and teaching settings
For long-term placements, take on planning, marking and progress monitoring
Support schools in maintaining continuity of learning during staff absence
Secondary Teacher requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised in the UK
Recent experience teaching in a Secondary school classroom
Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
Flexible and adaptable approach to teaching across different schools
