Cambian Pengwern College offers specialist further education in North Wales, providing day and residential placements for young people aged 16 to 25 with learning disabilities and complex needs. Our approach is student-centred, focusing on individualised learning programs, life skills, vocational qualifications, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow schemes of work and create medium-term plans.
* Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum.
* Support students with complex needs in learning activities and personal skills.
* Manage a subject or curriculum area using your skills and experience.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance students' skills and opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
* Teaching qualification and experience.
* Organised with the ability to plan structured lessons.
* Creative, energetic, and practical.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Interest in developing expertise in special needs and Autism.
* Proactive and dynamic.
* Team player capable of managing complex behaviours.
