As part of our continued expansion, Lockton Re is strengthening its North American Binding Authority business by investing in the growth of both our broking and support functions. As a result, our Client Services division is seeking talented professionals at all levels who are eager to contribute their binding authority expertise, collaborate with colleagues, and help drive the growth of this key area of the business.
Role Responsibilities
This is a multi-disciplined technical processing role focused on Lockton Re's Binding Authority business, incorporating Broker Support.
Processing & Claims
* Reviewing both new and existing binders
* FDO (For Declaration Only) presentation
* Premium & Claims bordereaux processing to bureau and non bureau
* Binding Authority Claims handling
* Proactively resolve coverage and accounting-related queries, ensuring there are no delays in current or future transactions
* Maintain timely accounting to carriers and clients
* Experience covering all classes of business,
* Converse with clients and carriers on a technical level
* Candidates need to be able to work independently, managing priorities and supporting team colleagues to ensure customer satisfaction
* Excellent technical knowledge of the Lloyd's and or Company Reinsurance market
* Actively builds relationships with team, internal and external clients
* Identify client's individual requirements and work alongside them to achieve the best possible outcomes
* Participate in client and reinsurer meetings as required
Broker Support
* Debroke
* Risk sign down
* Prepare and maintain account statistics
* Provide support in the overall servicing of the client's account and retention of business
* Use Electronic methods throughout full process
Qualifications
Successful applicants will ideally have prior (re)insurance experience with a binding authority focus to help them transition into this role. Additionally, you should be able to evidence many of the following core competencies:
* Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, Insurers and Associates.
* Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing with clients, insurers and other associates.
* Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality.
* Proven problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve unusual and complex issues and then devise actionable solutions.
* Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or similar software applications
