About the Role:
We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at our central kitchen in Sowton, Exeter.
This is a varied hours for absence and holiday cover position offering shifts per week on a rota basis. Our rota contains starting times from 6 am, Monday to Friday. It's a great opportunity if you're looking for some catering work on varied hours — with no late nights or weekend shifts.
You'll play a key role in helping our kitchen team deliver freshly prepared, high-quality food across a range of catering services.
What You'll Be doing:
* Supporting the Kitchen Manager and wider team with food preparation and service
* Helping produce food for buffets, office deliveries, and our cafés
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in a kitchen or food production environment (preferred)
* A full UK driving licence.
* A positive, hands-on team player with great communication skills
* Passion for good food and high standards of cleanliness and efficiency
Location:
Sowton, Exeter (EX2 7LW) – must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting
