Full-Time Receptionist Position
Location: Wythenshawe
Duration:ASAP – December 2025 (with potential for extension)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Position Type: Full-time, temporary with permanent possibilities
We are seeking a professional and welcoming receptionist to join our high school team for the autumn term. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact in an educational environment while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic school setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors
* Handle multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately
* Manage student sign-ins/sign-outs and maintain visitor logs
* Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence
* Support the main office with general clerical duties
* Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive student and staff information
* Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
Ideal Candidate
* Previous reception or administrative experience preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Reliable and punctual with strong organisational skills
* Experience working with young people is advantageous
