Legal Officer
We are a rapidly growing software provider and progressive business that offers a variety of digital banking solutions for its customers and organisations all over the world. We are now looking for a highly motivated “Legal Assistant” to join one of the leading companies in the Financial Services industry.
Job Duties
* Report directly into Company Director/General Manager
* Carry out office administration, including writing letters
* Organise diaries, schedule meetings and respond to telephone queries
* Write up first drafts and proof read documents/contracts
* Analyse and input data when neededOrganise case files, transcribe legal opinion and compile legal agreements
* Network with clients and build valuable relationships
* Write legal reports and conduct legal research
* Review commercial credit agreements
* Good understanding of FCA Reporting
* Knowledge of the Banking Sector & Regulations (desirable)
Skills Required
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* 5+ years legal experience
* Ability to manage high workload
* Good attention to detail and to be able to carefully analyse files and data
* Legal research skills and the desire to develop understanding of law
* Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
* Office Administration Skills
* Good Teamwork Skills
* Flexibility and adaptability in attitude and approach to work
