We are currently working with a dedicated and dynamic team who are looking to recruit a Team Manager on a permanent basis. The Safeguarding team plays a crucial role in protecting children at risk, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Manager to lead this.
Your new role
1. Lead and manage the Safeguarding Team, ensuring high standards of practice and performance.
2. Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of safeguarding services.
3. Provide supervision, support, and professional development opportunities for team members.
4. Collaborate with multi-agency partners to ensure effective safeguarding interventions.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding practices and procedures.
6. Ensurepliance with relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.
7. Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver high-quality services.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience in a safeguarding role, with a strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
9. Previous management experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
10. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
11. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
12. Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
13. Relevant professional qualification in social work.
14. SWE Registered.
15. Must be able to drive and have access to own vehicle.
