DRIVER - CLASS 2 HGV

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Class 2
Key responsibilities:
1. Complete safe loading and unloading of vehicles, to ensure products are not damaged and are protected from tampering whilst in transit.
2. Ensure that deliveries can be made safely and in accordance with the loading schedule.
3. Check goods off with customer and obtain the required signature and print for sensitive documents.
4. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external staff.
5. Drive the vehicle in a safe manner and comply with all Road Traffic Regulations.
6. Comply with EU Driving Hours and the EU Working Time Directive.
7. Complete daily checks, ensure vehicles are kept clean and tidy, comply with company fuel directives and report any issues or damage.
8. Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure.
9. Attend essential and Driver CPC training, in order to carry out the driver role.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures (inc Dress Code, Performance and H+S).
Essential requirements:
11. Category C License
12. Driver CPC
13. Drivers Tachograph Card
14. A good understanding of written and verbal English
15. UK Driving licence (Max 3 penalty points, NO DD Convictions)
16. Be able to work Shifts patterns on a 5 days out of 7
Desirable requirements:
17. Previous tail lift and refrigeration unit experience
18. A good knowledge of the London road network
19. Previous multidrop / collection experience

Due to working in a secured station environment (airport style), Continuous past 5 years employment references with no gaps, (including jobcentre plus) will be required in order to obtain I.D. pass DBS/CRB checks will be carried out pending successful applicants and referencing. Right to work in the UK documentation required.
