Drama Teacher – Full Time (Temp to Perm) – L12

Start: ASAP
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Location: L12, Liverpool
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a passionate, creative, and inspiring Drama Teacher looking for your next opportunity? A high-performing secondary school and sixth form in the L12 area of Liverpool is seeking a dedicated Drama specialist to join their vibrant Performing Arts department on a full-time temp-to-perm basis.

About the Role

You will be joining a supportive and dynamic department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a love of performance, creativity, and self-expression. The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence, a rich co-curricular programme, and a warm, inclusive community.

Your responsibilities will include:

Teaching Drama across KS3–KS4 (and potentially KS5 depending on experience)
Creating engaging, imaginative, and challenging lessons
Supporting school productions, showcases, and wider performing arts events
Contributing to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development
Inspiring students of all abilities to achieve their best

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Specialism in Drama or Performing Arts
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
A genuine passion for inspiring young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
