We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious staff to join our team as Radiographic Departmental Assistants
The post holder will rotate in various departments, such as A&E, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Orthopaedics Inpatients, Outpatients, and Fluoroscopy. The post will provide an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to develop and expand their skills.
Tasks include but are not exclusive to: aiding the Radiologists and Radiographers with procedures and assisting patients in preparing them for their examination.
The successful applicant will be required to participate in a 5/7 rota including evenings, nights and weekends.
The working days are Monday, Tuesday, every second Wednesday and some weekends.

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check done than is currently the case. If the post is assessed as a 'regulated role', your appointment will be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
