Shift patterns: Monday - Friday Night Shift 8pm - 4am
Location: Normanton, WF6 1TF

We're now looking for a Transport First Line Manager to take the helm of our daily transport operations. Join us and be a key player in shaping the future of logistics!
what You'll Do
* To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence
* Ensure drivers are legal and compliant on a daily and weekly basis and ensure clear communication between all functions within the transport department and the warehouse team
* To manage the front desk, liaising with drivers and customers to deal with any queries. Completing defect reports and arranging servicing of fleet.
* To lead the work activities of the drivers and the transport clerical team, providing effective leadership, communication, motivation, training and development
what You'll Bring
* Must have people management experience in a transport/logistics environment
* Great communicator with the ability to build a strong rapport with drivers and customers
* Computer literate with experience of Tachomaster and Microsoft Office
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports
