We are seeking a dynamic and charismatic Project Manager looking to make their mark in a fast-moving and ambitious company. Working with the Head of Commercial, the two main objectives of the position are to drive account growth (current and potential) and grow engagement across all of our active sites. This will include working with our current clients as well as maximising nodes and connections throughout our network. The key is to identify roadblocks as opportunities (present and future) and develop strategic solutions to aid our clients, adding value to their work streams and subsequently increase sales and revenue.
Hiring an experienced Account/Project Manager within the real estate/
Development industry is essential to ensure the candidate intrinsically understands the RIBA development timeline and simultaneously which tools and services Cityscape can provide our clients to maximise effectiveness and value, thus encouraging further engagement throughout the sites' lifecycle and landing opportunities. Industry leading day-to-day project delivery is also expected as part of the role. Performance will be based on pre-agreed KPIs with quarterly reviews.
A strong base of project management experience is vital, but the role will suit entrepreneurial candidates who wish to act dynamically in a small and cohesive team. Industry specific training will be provided so candidates can be from varied backgrounds such as development, engineering, planning or other project management fields. Our Account Managers represent us in the market, they are our lead generators, relationship builders and the link between client and production so we see this as a key role that we are looking to fill immediately.
Roles and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to;
Expectations:
* Highly experienced in project and account management with no support or input required to fully service and facilitate account requirements and opportunities.
* Fully connected with the other consultants on their project teams, engaging with them on a weekly basis and fully engrossed in the vision, milestones and programme.
* Mine and land new business opportunities on current accounts and projects as well as investigating and facilitating opportunities across new contacts and sites.
* Responding effectively and efficiently to new business opportunities - including preparing quotes and proposals, as well as follow-up negotiation and landing of opportunities. Minimum 80% win rate required.
* Successfully own and manage circa £150k worth of project work per month, taking overall ownership for the end to end project life cycle and strategy, from landing new business to managing the project programme and budget through to delivery.
* Lead and organise regular client and team meetings, ensuring client ambitions and needs are actioned and met and tasks delegated internally correctly.
* Work with our account clients and build a solid pipeline for future initiatives and projects on our current and potential sites for future revenue forecasting and growth management.
New Business + Account Management
* Manage the day-to-day relationship with allocated clients in relation to client satisfaction, revenue, and growth.
* Identifying and managing new and exciting opportunities when they arise
* Show initiative in cultivating relationships with clients and consultants to expand new business enquiries
* Establishing account management best practices within the team and by working with peers
* Maximise, cross and upsell opportunities on existing accounts
* Responding effectively and efficiently to new business opportunities - including preparing quotes and proposals, as well as follow-up negotiation and landing of opportunities
* Attend demos + pitches for new and existing clients
* Attend networking functions and client social events, with a view of developing contacts in line with Cityscape’s sales and marketing strategies
Project Management + Administration
* Successfully manage circa £150k worth of project work per month, taking overall ownership for the end to end project life cycle and strategy, from landing new business to managing the project programme and budget through to delivery
* Manage scheduling and resourcing for all your projects alongside the Resource Manager - working across a number at the same time
* Negotiating scope, budget and deadlines with client and consultant teams
* Ensure all projects are set up correctly following the company processes
* Organise and lead in regular client and team meetings, ensuring client needs are met and tasks delegated correctly
* Prepare detailed project briefs for the production staff working on your projects - including photography, planning + feasibility testing, visualisation, realtime/VR
* Work closely with Art Directors and project leads to facilitate creative process and output
* Mentoring junior Project Manager colleagues
* Covering for team members during annual leave and busy periods
Financial Management
* Track project financial performance and budgets throughout life span
* Prepare project figures monthly for accounts team to invoice clients
* Meet monthly targets for delivery of project figures and invoicing
Required Experience
* 5+ Years of Account/Project Manager Experience
* Significant and successful client engagement experience.
* A strong Project Management background
* Proven experience managing project budgets up to £300k
* Historic experience of complex account development and new business opportunities in a consultative manner
* Knowledge of property development or planning applications would be highly desirable but not essential
