We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Class 1 Night Driver to join our busy logistics operation and trunk caged freight to the Midlands based hub The right candidate will have previous experience with a double deck trailer, a working knowledge of trunking operations and will be confident reversing a trailer. You will need to be professional, helpful and have a positive manner. As a business we put Health and Safety first, so you will be expected adhere to all our policies and procedures including checking and strapping your load, and carrying out full vehicle checks. Excellent communication skills are also important as you will need to keep in touch with the office and ensure that you follow network procedure. You will receive full training on all the equipment needed to ensure you complete your duties successfully. Hours of work are 50 per week Mon to Fri (Sat morning) and will run between 18.00 and 09.00, but these can vary depending on volumes, holidays and traffic/roadworks.
