Responsibilities
The Associate Manager of Marketing – UK presents the exciting opportunity to launch and scale poppi in the UK. This role is responsible to maintain the poppi DNA – leveraging a best-in-class global playbook, adapting marketing for local relevance and ensuring integrity across the globe. You will partner closely with poppi HQ on integrated 360 marketing campaigns, innovation, social media, influencers & events, retail programs, college activations, media and brand partnerships. Additionally, you will partner and inspire a team of high performing internal PepsiCo members and external agency partners. Success will be measured by the ability to grow brand awareness, scale trial and deepen community engagement to hit poppi UK’s key performance targets.
You will be tasked to:
1. Lead the UK Marketing AOP in partnership with poppi HQ and PepsiCo – build and execute yearly marketing plans to hit business growth targets
2. Build the innovation roadmap and manage the product portfolio for the UK
3. Inspire and motivate a high-performing team of internal PepsiCo members and external agency partners
4. Drive strategy, budget and execution of 360 marketing initiatives, ensuring brand governance across all consumer touchpoints including web, paid media, product, packaging, retail, events, etc.
5. Move at the speed of culture – inspire best-in-class content, creator and community-building strategies
6. Establish a deep knowledge and understanding of competitive landscape, customer segments and UK marketplace to iterate strategy for maximal results
7. Procure and analyze consumer and innovations insights to translate them into meaningful action
8. Work cross-functionally between various teams, drive projects forward, and effectively allocate resources
9. Lead brand health reporting – track, analyze, and report the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, translate findings into actionable strategies and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
10. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
11. Experience at a social, digital and creative-first brand. At least (4) years experience managing influencer, social media and/or events.
12. Technology proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, G Suite, and Zoom. Capable of quickly and on your own to learn and adapt to new technologies.
13. Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule, occasionally working evenings and weekends for special assignments.
14. Ability to earn the company and teammates' trust through maintaining confidentiality, particularly when handling sensitive information/situations and executing duties/responsibilities consistently.
15. A self-starter who is hands-on and efficient – has a boot-strapped mindset and can get things done with a lean but mighty team.
