Looking for a role where your work genuinely changes the day for every student who needs it most?
This one’s for you.
We’re working with a supportive and well-run secondary school in Barnet that’s looking for a SENCO who can bring clarity, compassion, and strong leadership to their SEND provision. Whether you’re after full-time or part-time, they’re open to making it work for the right person.
Because finding the right SENCO isn’t about hours on a timetable, it’s about the right person leading the way.

What you’ll be doing:
* Leading and developing the school’s SEND provision across KS3 and KS4
* Supporting teachers with strategies that actually work in real classrooms
* Working closely with pupils, families, and external agencies
* Ensuring EHCPs are meaningful, not just paperwork
* Championing inclusive practice across the whole school
-----------------------------------
What they’re looking for:
* A qualified teacher with SENCO experience (or ready to step into the role)
* NASENCO qualification, or willingness to complete it
* Someone calm, organised, and genuinely passionate about SEND
* A collaborator, you’ll be working closely with SLT and teaching staff daily
* Strong understanding of secondary SEND needs and provision
-----------------------------------
Why this school?
* Supportive SLT who understand the realities of SEND, not just the theory
* A culture where inclusion isn’t a buzzword, it’s how they operate
* Flexibility on working pattern, because work-life balance matters
* Engaged students and a team that backs each other
-----------------------------------
Why Protocol Education?
* Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella companies
* FREE access to CPD, including SEND and leadership training
* A dedicated consultant who actually listens to what you want
* Long-term opportunities across North London
