Apprentice Receptionist Administrator – X‑Ray Imaging Department

We are delighted to offer an apprenticeship for an Apprentice Receptionist Administrator in our X‑Ray Imaging Department. This department forms part of the Radiology Imaging division of the hospital which provides a diagnostic, interventional and therapeutic service for patients in the East of England region. The various imaging techniques within the division help to diagnose and treat diseases in the body.
Responsibilities
* Meeting, greeting and registering new patients
* Booking appointments
* Maintaining medical records
* Communicating with internal and external colleagues and patients via email, telephone and face to face
* Completing general administration tasks
Contract & Compensation
The contract length is 18 months. The apprenticeship salary on commencement is £15,739; after 12 months in post this will increase to the National Minimum Wage (depending upon age). The Trust aims to support apprentices who can apply for permanent employment after the apprenticeship contract.
Qualifications & Skills
* Minimum GCSE Grade 3/D or Functional Skills Level 1 or above in Maths and English
* Enthusiastic, positive work ethic, keen to learn and able to work in a team
* Strong organisational skills and a desire to deliver excellent customer service
Eligibility
Applicants must have a right to work in the UK, or EU citizens hold pre‑settled or settled status and have been a UK resident for the last three years, or have indefinite leave to remain with documents that are not due to expire during the duration of the apprenticeship contract. Applicants must also not already have a qualification at a higher level within the same subject matter.
