Position: Year 5 Supply Teacher

Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Year 5 Supply Teacher to join our friendly school community in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to support our pupils’ learning and contribute positively to their educational journey. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring continuity of learning during the teacher’s absence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching to Year 5 pupils in line with the school curriculum
* Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment
* Manage behaviour effectively to promote a positive learning atmosphere
* Liaise with staff to ensure smooth transition and consistency for pupils
* Complete any necessary administrative tasks related to the role
Requirements:
* Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching primary-aged children, preferably Year 5
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with minimal supervision
* Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to undergo checks prior to start)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
