Job Description Family Law Solicitor / Legal Executive Salary: £35,000 to £55,000 Location: Oldham Experience: 1 year plus, all levels considered An excellent opportunity for a Family Law Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal to join a well-established private family team with an existing caseload and clear scope to grow your practice. The Opportunity You will join a busy Family Law Department with a strong local reputation and a steady flow of work. The team is looking for someone who can run matters with confidence, build trusted client relationships, and contribute to the continued growth of the department. The Role You will manage a varied private family caseload, with a focus on: Private children matters (acting for applicants and respondents) Divorce and associated financial remedy work Unmarried couple disputes Pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements Matters handled both pre-action and through litigation where required What We’re Looking For Essential Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, Chartered Legal Executive, or an experienced Family Law Paralegal Experience handling private family matters, particularly private children and divorce Confident drafting skills and a practical, client-focused approach Strong organisation and the ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision Professional communication style with the ability to build rapport quickly Desirable Experience with financial remedy work Interest in business development and helping to grow a department What’s On Offer Salary £35,000 to £55,000 depending on experience Company pension Generous holiday allowance Additional day’s leave for your birthday each year Death in service cover (4x salary) Clear progression pathway and support to develop your career within the department About Our Client Our client is a well-regarded law firm with an established private client offering and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, pragmatic advice.
