Your new role
We are seeking a hands-on UAT Test Manager to support a major SAP transformation programme, migrating from legacy systems into SAP Finance and Procurement.
The role will focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a business perspective, ensuring that the SAP solution delivered by the system integrator is fully aligned to real operational workflows.
This plays a critical role in bridging the gap between technical delivery and business usability, particularly as the business will own UAT.
Role Responsibilities
1. Develop and own the UAT strategy, approach, andernance.
2. Define test scope, entry/exit criteria, and success measures.
3. Establish a structured UAT test framework aligned to business processes.
4. Design and produce end-to-end UAT test scripts based on business process mapping.
5. Ensure scenarios reflect real-life workflows ( invoice processing, procurement journeys).
6. Work closely with the Business Analyst to translate process designs into testable scenarios.
7. Act as a quality gate on system integrator deliverables, challenging outputs where required.
8. Partner with the SAP Consultant to validate how processes should work in SAP and how they should be tested.
9. Lead and coordinate UAT execution with business users.
10. Support abined training + UAT approach, enabling users to learn SAP while testing it.
11. Provide hands-on guidance to users with limited SAP experience.
What you'll need to succeed
12. Proven experience as a Test Manager within large-scale ERP transformations.
13. Strong hands-on experience leading UAT for SAP implementations.
14. Migrating from legacy systems to SAP.
15. Experience across Finance, Procurement, and HR modules.
16. Capability to operate in a hands-on capacity (test strategy, scripting, execution).
17. Strong stakeholder management and ability to challenge delivery partners effectively.
18. Experience providing independent assurance/oversight inplex programmes.
19. Strong understanding of testernance, defect management, and reporting.
