The post holder will work closely with consultants, clinical nurse specialists, and MDT members to ensure effective communication and smooth coordination of care. They will schedule and track diagnostic tests, outpatient appointments, and treatment dates, liaising with departments across the Trust to avoid unnecessary delays. The role requires handling sensitive and confidential information, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in all patient interactions. The coordinator will be expected to manage competing priorities, work independently, and maintain excellent organisational skills to support delivery of a safe, efficient, and patient-focused service.
