Credi Controller | Sittingbourne | £30-32K
A well-established organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Credit Controller to join its high-performing finance team. This is a key role in ensuring strong working capital performance, accurate customer account management and effective cash collection processes.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
* Conduct proactive credit control activity via phone and email, maintaining accurate records of all interactions.
* Investigate and resolve invoice, payment and credit note queries, working closely with internal teams and customers.
* Accurately post and allocate customer payments, resolving unallocated cash promptly.
* Produce customer statements and supply supporting documentation such as copy invoices.
* Review and action daily credit hold lists, escalating high-risk accounts where required.
* Assist with credit checks, monitor customer payment behaviour and flag potential bad debts.
* Maintain accurate customer account information and update portals/EDI systems where applicable.
* Support ageing reviews, internal reporting and wider finance team tasks.
* Contribute to process improvements and ensure credit control procedures are consistently followed.
The Ideal Candidate Will Be:
* Experienced in credit control, accounts receivable or a similar finance function.
* A strong communicator with confidence in managing customer relationships.
* Highly organised, accurate and able to prioritise a busy workload.
* Analytical, proactive and able to investigate and resolve queries efficiently.
* Comfortable working with finance systems and maintaining high-quality data.
