Role Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Vice President of AI & Genomics Platforms for Drug Discovery to lead and define our computational genomics strategy. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for driving AI-enabled target discovery, multi-omics integration, and platform innovation to accelerate our drug discovery pipeline. You will lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team and influence the company’s scientific direction at the executive level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and scale a team of computational biologists, data scientists, software engineers, and genomics specialists focused on drug discovery.
* Define and execute the company’s AI-genomics strategy across target discovery, biomarker development, and therapeutic hypothesis generation.
* Build and maintain scalable computational platforms that integrate multi-omics, clinical, and experimental datasets to inform drug discovery decisions.
* Collaborate closely with discovery, translational, and preclinical teams to ensure computational insights translate into actionable experimental programs.
* Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI, genomics, and multi-omics technologies for application in drug discovery.
* Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to company strategy, partnerships, and scientific vision.
* Represent the company at conferences, scientific collaborations, and investor or partner meetings.
Qualifications:
* PhD (or equivalent) in Genomics, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, AI/ML, or related field.
* Extensive experience applying AI/ML to genomics in a drug discovery context.
* Proven track record leading interdisciplinary teams in biotech or pharmaceutical environments.
* Strong expertise in multi-omics data integration, predictive modelling, and computational platform development.
* Executive-level leadership skills, with experience influencing company strategy and R&D decisions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to bridge computational, experimental, and business stakeholders.
