Protocol Education are recruiting on behalf of a thriving and inclusive SEND school in Basildon and are seeking a candidate with a strong creative or arts-based background.
The school offers a holistic and therapeutic approach, using sensory strategies and an individualised curriculum to create a calm, purposeful learning environment. Pupils have a range of complex needs including Autism (ASD), behavioural and SEMH needs, and all learners have an EHCP, which will be shared with you to ensure consistent and focused support.
You will be working both 1:1 and within small classroom groups, so being adaptable, proactive and positive is essential. Your creativity — in art, drama, sensory work or therapy-based disciplines — will help engage pupils, build confidence and support meaningful, enjoyable learning experiences.
