Description
* Prepare and analyse financial reports related to the logistics department.
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
* Support budgeting and forecasting activities to optimise financial outcomes.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
* Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes.
* Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and cost controls.
* Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
Profile
A successful Accountant should have:
* A recognised qualification in accounting.
* Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
* Experience within the retail/logistics industry is advantageous.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
