SEN Teaching Assistant / Special Educational Needs Support Assistant - SN2 Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners? My client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a named pupil with additional needs at a vibrant and nurturing primary school. This role offers the opportunity to create a positive impact by empowering children to overcome barriers to learning, while working within a welcoming and values-driven community. This role is available on a named-pupil contract working for 27.5 hours per week. What You’ll Be Doing Develop positive relationships with children to support their learning and emotional growth. Provide one-on-one and group interventions to support a named pupil with SEND. Collaborate with teachers and the SENDCo to address children’s progress and barriers. Follow individual support plans and engage with relevant training to enhance your skills. Assist with classroom organization, administrative tasks, and creating an engaging learning environment. Supervise children during playtimes, ensuring their safety and well-being. Administer first aid as needed and report incidents following school policies. About You Be able to do the job as described. Skilled communicator, able to collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals. Organized and flexible, with the creativity to adapt to individual needs.
