Position: Site Engineer (Highways)

Salary: £40,000 £45,000 per annum

Overview:
An experienced civil engineering contractor delivering major UK highways and infrastructure schemes is seeking two Site Engineers to join an ongoing highways project in Oxfordshire. This is a permanent opportunity offering long-term stability on a live highways scheme.
? Highways experience is essential. Candidates with HS2-only backgrounds will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out for highways and civil engineering works
Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings and specifications
Managing quality control and site documentation
Supporting site management and subcontractors
Maintaining health & safety standards on site
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways projects
Minimum 2 years highways experience
Valid CSCS card
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Own transport (site not easily accessible by public transport)
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
