Job Summary
Senior Design Manager – Digital Delivery oversees the link between Design & Construction and Operations, ensuring digital spatial data is delivered efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery and processes for Digital Data to operational teams across global construction programs.
* Standardize and format digital data from design and construction to meet operational needs.
* Maintain process documentation for repeatable, timely and accurate service.
* Facilitate the transition of data from project design to operational workflows.
* Work closely with Operations to ensure data is easily accessible and functional for day‑to‑day operations.
* Act as the point of contact for resolving data‑related issues that impact Operations.
* Provide training on VDC related updates and ensure deliverables are clear among stakeholders.
* Manage virtual machines that run critical batch processes and oversee automation of data processes.
* Collaborate with Design & Construction teams to align data outputs with operational requirements.
* Maintain close communication with Operations to support capacity and operational planning.
* Proactively improve data delivery processes to meet evolving operational needs.
* Monitor global performance of the digital delivery team to meet defined SLAs.
* Lead project and program delivery of company‑wide digital delivery packages for construction projects.
* Implement processes and procedures to aid in design and construction project controls and oversight.
* Manage model quality health checks and external project team communication.
* Track and record digital delivery progress across global projects.
* Manage resources to deliver digital data delivery for construction projects to Operations, including budget management and controls.
* Manage external consultants to provide add‑ins and drawing automation deliverables to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience preferred.
* Experience managing digital data delivery and bridging design and operational workflows.
* Familiarity with CAD & Revit platforms and spatial data management.
* Ability to manage and optimize automated processes, including virtual machine oversight.
* Strong communication skills to lead collaboration across departments and ensure alignment between design and operational needs.
