We support organisations to do their best work and ensure the sectors voice is heard where it matters. We have recently launched an ambitious new five-year strategy focused on strengthening the sectors resilience, leadership, skills and sustainability in a changing political, economic and social environment. The Director of Sector Support role sits at the centre of that work. As a member of NICVAs Senior Management Team, you will lead the development and delivery of NICVAs sector support services, including governance, fundraising, leadership, and organisational development support. You will be responsible for ensuring our services remain relevant, high-quality, and responsive to the evolving needs of the sector. This includes identifying emerging trends, strengthening workforce development support, building effective external partnerships, and helping organisations develop the skills and resilience they need to thrive. The role includes leading and developing a skilled multi-disciplinary team, contributing to organisational strategy and income generation, and representing NICVA externally with a wide range of stakeholders and partners. It would suit someone who can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery, bring strong leadership experience, and build effective relationships across organisations and sectors. Salary: £55,610 - £57,867 per annum (NICVA Grade N, NJC points 44-46) Contract: Full-time (35 hours per week) Whats in it for you?
