Are you an experienced administrator for your next challenge as a Payroll Administrator ? We are continuing to experience an exciting period of company growth, so it’s a great time to join our friendly team where you will play a key role in supporting the Payroll function. Joining an established and fast-paced team, based from our Support Office in Birchwood, this is a great opportunity for a Payroll and Expenses Administrator who is looking for a new challenge or for an experienced Administrator who wants to make the move in to a Payroll role. In this role, you’ll work closely with the wider Payroll Team, carrying out a range of payroll administrative duties, including: Processing weekly expenses in line with Company policies and HMRC legislation Setting up new starters and leavers, including pension files Processing P45s and new starter checklists Inputting high volumes of overtime, timesheets, bonuses, allowances and statutory payments Administering sickness and absences, including SSP payments Handling payroll queries via email and telephone Processing court orders Completing manual PAYE, SMP, SSP and SPP calculations Supporting payroll reconciliations Producing P11Ds, P60s and P45s Responding to enquiry forms such as DWP, CSA and Jobcentre requests What can we offer you? To succeed as a payroll administrator, you’ll bring: Previous payroll experience, or experience in a similar administrative role within HR, Reward or Finance Knowledge of pensions and auto‑enrolment Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure Excellent numeracy and literacy Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook Understanding of current HMRC tax legislation Confident communication skills Ability to meet strict deadlines and work flexibly during busy periods High attention to detail and accuracy About Us Why Sunbelt?
