Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. What will you be doing? As a People Partner, you’ll be aligned to a specific division within M Group, working closely with business leaders to tackle key talent challenges and opportunities. You’ll be instrumental in delivering a positive, inclusive workplace culture and ensuring our people strategies align with business goals. You’ll collaborate with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) across Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Reward, and Shared Services to: Design and implement effective organisational structures Build a future-ready, stable workforce Champion employee engagement and wellbeing Support TUPE, M&A, and integration activities Use data insights to drive strategic decisions Requirements: Develop and deliver divisional people plans aligned with business priorities Partner with Talent Acquisition to create strategic workforce plans Drive leadership development and succession planning Coach leaders and managers to build organisational capability Lead on performance management and reward strategies Share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement What You’ll Bring: Proven experience in a People Partner or HR Generalist role Strong understanding of TUPE (inbound and outbound) Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset Resilient, adaptable, and collaborative approach CIPD qualified or equivalent HR experience In addition, this role offers; Company car and fuel card with a range of EV and hybrid vehicles to choose from Matched or contributory pension scheme My Rewards portal, access to 1000’s of retail discounts Cycle to work scheme Enhanced maternity, paternity leave and adoption leave Reward and recognition scheme 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays About Us We want to be an employer of choice and a great place to work, attracting diverse and talented people, who join us and make a difference.
