Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently recruiting experienced van drivers to support a range of clients across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
This role is perfect for drivers seeking flexible, ad hoc work that can fit around other commitments, while offering a hands-on, active working environment.
🕒 The Role
1. Completing multi-drop furniture deliveries across local routes
2. Working as part of a team to load, handle, and deliver heavy items
3. Ensuring all goods are delivered safely and in excellent condition
4. Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
5. Flexible shifts, mainly Monday to Friday
💰 Pay Rates
PAYE:
6. £13.00 per hour
7. £17.32 per hour (after 8 hours)
PAYE Advanced:
8. £14.57 per hour
9. £19.42 per hour (after 8 hours)
✅ Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Flexible work to suit your availability
✅ Requirements
10. Full UK driving licence
11. No major endorsements (DD, IN, CD, DG, DR)
12. Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
13. Reliable, punctual, and professional
14. Previous van driving experience essential
