Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.Location: CongletonContract: Full Time | Temporary (20th April - May Half Term, with potential to extend until Summer)Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a primary school in Congleton who are seeking a Year 2 Teacher to join their team from 20th April.This is a full-time position initially running until May half term, with a strong possibility of continuing through to the end of the academic year for the right candidate.The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who can deliver engaging and structured lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum. As this is a Year 2 class, confidence in supporting pupils in the lead up to end of Key Stage 1 assessments is highly desirable.You will be joining a supportive team and will be expected to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring consistency and continuity in the classroom.Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculumPrepare pupils for end of Key Stage 1 assessments (SATs)Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environmentAssess, monitor, and report on pupil progressManage behaviour effectively in line with school policiesWork collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, and parents/carersRequirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2Strong classroom management and organisational skillsAbility to commit from 20th April through to at least May half termA proactive, reliable, and adaptable approachAbility to provide two references covering the last two years of employment historyAn Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for onePay £140 - £170 per day (dependent on experience, pay scale, and responsibilities)Why work with Premier Education Ltd?
