Community Phlebotomist

The post holder will be supported to autonomously run planned clinics for secondary care patients to perform skilled clinical interventions, such as venepuncture, ECGS, clinical observations etc, across multiple community hospital sites.
Job responsibilities
* Run planned clinics across multiple community hospital sites.
* Perform venepuncture, ECGS, clinical observations and other clinical interventions.
* Manage own patient case load and work closely with the community ambulatory care team.
* Work across the community ambulatory and outpatient services cluster as required.
* Maintain a 1.5 WTE schedule, Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00.
Qualifications and requirements
* Current venepuncture competency.
* Enthusiastic, dynamic, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage clinic operations.
* Preference given to staff with Priority and At Risk status, including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon.

* Working hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-16:00.
