We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to be part of our maintenance team at The Hoxton, Southwark.
The Hoxton, Southwark is our third in London, only a skip & a hop away from the South Bank. With 192 rooms, The Apartment (our unique meeting & events space) and two restaurants: Albie, an all-day dining spot, and Seabird, a seafood rooftop restaurant with views of London. We also have a coworking space, Working From_, spread over six floors—something for everyone!

What you'll do...
* Oversee maintenance of hotel facilities, costs, safety policies, and contractors
* Control maintenance budgets and stock levels, ensure safety compliance
* Implement effective PPM schedules
* Maintain plant rooms and manage onsite contractor activities
* Order supplies and manage stock controls
* Manage utility readings and water testing/treatment
* Maintain records of machinery and equipment
* Assist with risk assessments
* Maintain and test fire safety equipment
* Coordinate quotations from suppliers
* Report serious defects to senior management
* Ensure SOPs are followed and team is well-trained
* Coach and develop the team, set objectives, monitor performance
* Maintain good relationships with other departments
* Identify process improvement opportunities
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
* Participate in crisis and fire teams
* Manage HR documentation and expenses
* Contribute to team development projects
* Project manage policy and procedure updates
* Deliver high customer service levels and build supplier relationships
* Cover shift engineer shifts as needed
What we're looking for...
* Strong communication skills and computer literacy
* Experience in building management and MEP management
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations
* Experience with Facility Management software
* Stock management skills
* Project management experience, including budget responsibility
* Leadership experience with diverse teams
