Learning support assistant – college setting
Location: OL8
Employer: Axcis Education
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Agency, term time only
Pay: From £13.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate learning support assistant to work within a well-resourced college environment supporting students aged 16+. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people and support them in reaching their full potential.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
•Work with small groups of college-aged students, providing targeted support
•Assist learners with literacy and numeracy skills
•Support students to remain focused and on task during lessons
•Work closely with teaching staff to meet individual learning needs
•Support students who may display Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Requirements:
•Previous experience working with young people aged 16+
•Experience supporting students with SEND
•A patient, calm, and encouraging approach
•Strong communication and teamwork skills
•A genuine passion for supporting young people in education
