Join a passionate team dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of pupils and their families at an innovative academy in Rugby, supporting children and young people with autism and/or social, emotional, and mental health needs.
About Us
In September 2019, MacIntyre Academies Trust opened a new academy in Rugby, Warwickshire, in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility for children and young people aged 7 to 17 with social, emotional, mental health needs, and/or autism. The academy features specialist facilities such as a sensory room, therapy room, immersive classroom, soft play area, recording studio, and photography suite. Our holistic curriculum includes blended therapy to support our pupils' development. We also have a community-focused cafe and a display area for pupils' work, fostering community engagement.
Initially located in Nuneaton, the academy moved to its current site in Rugby, expanding from 30 pupils in 2017 to 97 currently. MacIntyre Academies is sponsored by MacIntyre Charity, renowned for its high-quality, person-centered approach over the past 50 years.
