Civils Planner – Major Infrastructure Project This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on one of the UK’s landmark energy infrastructure projects. Reporting directly to the Planning Manager, you’ll work closely with highly experienced professionals in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment. This role is ideally suited to someone who has transitioned from site - such as an Engineer or Agent - and is now looking to build a long-term career in planning. What you’ll be doing As a Civils Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing robust construction programmes that support successful project delivery from tender stage through to completion. Your responsibilities will include: Developing, maintaining, and updating detailed construction programmes Ensuring programmes align with internal planning procedures and industry best practice Analysing the critical path and identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities Supporting delivery teams with sequencing, resource planning, and progress tracking Producing clear and accurate planning outputs, including schedules, reports, planning narratives, and KPIs Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders to keep the project on track Who we’re looking for We’re looking for a motivated and technically strong planner with: Proven experience in a Planner role within civil engineering or construction A background on site (Engineer / Agent) with a move into planning highly desirable Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, and/or Microsoft Project A solid understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and resource management Excellent analytical skills, communication ability, and stakeholder engagement experience Why apply?
