About the role
We are looking for a Receptionist on a 12 month fixed term contract (ending March 2027) to help assist in the smooth running of reception on a day-to-day basis. Acting as the first point of contact, our busy Reception team need to understand what a caller or visitor requires and assist accordingly. The role will require regular phone work and general administrative duties to ensure visitors and employees are looked after.
What you'll be doing
Answering and directing incoming calls using a computer-based system
Fielding numerous employee queries regarding policies and procedures
Meeting and greeting clients and visitors
Issuing security passes
Maintaining a tidy and organised Reception area
Completing various administrative duties including weekly report running
Booking transport (mainly taxis) for clients and members of staff
Coordinating refreshments or making drinks when required
Supporting any other parts of the front of house teams and wider business as and when required
About you
Previous experience working as a Receptionist or working in a client/customer facing role
Knowledge of access control systems (training can be provided)
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Outstanding communication skills, friendly and approachable
Excellent telephone manner
Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
Ability to multitask
Salary
Offering circa £26,500 depending on experience

We are looking for a receptionist to join our team, based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This role is a 12 month FTC, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm.
