As a Business Assistant in the Strategic Investors Group within Commercial & Investment Banking, you provide essential executive support and help drive business priorities. You work closely with senior leaders and teams, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication. You play a vital role in managing meetings, travel, and events, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. You collaborate across teams, contribute to group initiatives, and help foster a positive, inclusive environment. Your attention to detail and proactive approach enable us to deliver high-quality results.

Job Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, clients, and key partners.
2. Coordinate executive calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements for leadership.
3. Organize and support events, town halls, off-sites, and investor meetings.
4. Process expenses and manage account reconciliations in partnership with Expense Management.
5. Demonstrate deep understanding of business priorities and investor landscape.
6. Serve as a system expert for internal tools and reporting.
7. Integrate with the group, understanding priorities and expectations.
8. Collaborate with team members to provide coverage and support.
9. Manage internal and external meetings, focusing on investor and client engagement.
10. Handle general administrative tasks, including room bookings and document management.
11. Partner with assistants across the group to ensure seamless coverage during absences.
12. Represent the firm and group with integrity, professionalism, and strong communication.
13. Mentor new team members and support onboarding processes.
14. Lead or support projects aligned with business needs, including reporting and planning.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

15. Demonstrate strong corporate communication, tact, and judgment in confidential situations.
16. Maintain a positive attitude and composure under pressure.
17. Show full competency in diary management and prioritization for senior leaders.
18. Arrange travel and produce accurate itineraries, optimizing leaders’ time.
19. Act as a trusted gatekeeper in client-facing situations.
20. Understand expense management and process expenses promptly.
21. Adapt flexibly to changing business needs and environments.
22. Take initiative and proactively follow up on arrangements and requirements.
23. Deliver high-quality results with strong attention to detail.
24. Understand the culture and priorities of Commercial & Investment Banking.
25. Build networks and work in partnership at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

26. Mentor and lead by example within the team.
27. Respond effectively to new challenges unique to investor and client landscapes.
28. Experience with project management and business initiatives.
29. Proficiency in internal systems such as Concur, eSource, Travel Portal, and Microsoft Teams.
30. Experience supporting senior executives in a financial services environment.
31. Strong organizational and event planning skills.
32. Ability to influence peers and represent the group with a strong personal brand.
