An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Engineer to join a well-established, privately owned building services provider at a large business park in Reading.
This is a static, Monday to Friday role, working as part of a resident engineering team, responsible for maintaining landlord plant across a commercial estate. While the role is electrically biased, the successful engineer will also carry out basic mechanical maintenance as part of a multi-skilled team.
The Role:
* Planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on landlord services
* Reactive electrical fault finding and repairs
* Carrying out basic mechanical maintenance on plant such as AHUs, FCUs, pumps and valves
* Working closely with other engineers and site management to ensure smooth site operation
* Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety and statutory compliance
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Qualified Electrical Engineer (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
2. 18th Edition desirable
3. Previous experience in a commercial building services environment
4. Comfortable undertaking basic mechanical tasks alongside electrical duties
