Investment Banking Vice President – Mergers & Acquisitions (London)
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated M&A Vice President to join our London-based investment banking team. The role offers significant exposure to complex, cross-border transactions and direct interaction with senior bankers, clients, and investors. The successful candidate will play a key role in deal execution, team leadership, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead execution of sell-side, buy-side, and strategic advisory mandates across multiple sectors
Oversee financial analysis, valuation (DCF, comps, precedent transactions), and financial modelling
Prepare and review client materials, including pitchbooks, information memoranda, management presentations, and board materials
Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with legal, accounting, and other advisors
Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and responsiveness
Mentor and manage Analysts and Associates, reviewing work and providing guidance
Support senior bankers in business development, origination, and client coverage initiatives
Ensure transactions are executed in line with internal governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in investment banking M&A, corporate finance, or a related advisory role
Strong track record of executed M&A transactions, ideally with cross-border exposure
Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
Experience working with UK, European, and international clients
