The Role
We are looking for a Factory Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working within our furniture production process, using machinery and hand tools to manufacture, assemble, and finish furniture to a high standard.
Previous experience in furniture manufacturing is desirable; however, for the right person with a good attitude and willingness to learn, full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Manufacturing and assembling furniture components
* Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
* Reading and working from drawings and job specifications
* Sanding, finishing, and preparing furniture for dispatch
* Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
* Maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail
* Keeping the workspace clean, tidy, and organised
* Following health and safety procedures at all times
* Working as part of a small, close-knit team
