Key responsibility: Providing outstanding support and customer service to all B&FC stakeholders.
Principal Duties:
1. Triaging incoming incidents, requests, changes and problems in the IT service management system, ensuring that information held is accurately updated, maintained and actioned appropriately.
2. Troubleshooting incidents through to resolution; escalating where necessary.
3. Providing IT support to employees and students in a first and second-line capacity.
4. Resolving IT incidents.
5. Conducting standard IT changes.
6. Conducting proactive and reactive maintenance, including asset management audits.
7. To ensure that IT security implications are fully prioritised, whether arising via BAU, incidents, service requests, or planned changes.
